RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control labor costs and expenses with a focus on rate strategy, building initiatives and inventory management.
  • Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports.
  • Prepare and submit statistical, performance, and forecast analyses and reports as required.
  • Support General Manager by developing plans to increase ADR through walk-ins and upselling at the front desk.

  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management plus 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial Returns:

  • Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage and labor costs.
  • In partnership with the catering office, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue. Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value.

Restaurant Expo

Oversees that the food from the kitchen is prepared to go out to guests and find the correct server and table. The expo is the only person that communicates between the server and the kitchen and reports to the Restaurant Managers and Chef.

Under the direction of on-duty chefs and the food and beverage department, the pantry worker is expected to perform assigned food preparation duties. Reports to AM/PM Chef.

Marketing/Design Intern

The intern will gain experience marketing using a large range of online tools across multiple channels – including print, email, web and social media. The intern will have the opportunity to work on integrated campaigns, drive online sales and actions, track and report on these projects, and learn how to adapt and improve marketing efforts. The intern will participate in design and development, making familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications essential, but just as important is the capability to design and market for a wide range of purposes. Reports to Director of Marketing.
