Holiday Inn located in Spring Lake MI is currently looking for an experienced, positive, service-oriented, energetic and highly motivated Executive Housekeeper to maintain high standards of service and hospitality. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, budget, motivate, and control the housekeeping functions necessary to provide top-quality clean accommodations. Individual also must be able to: Communicate effectively; provide clear direction in assigning and instructing staff in details of work. Provide staffing, training, counseling, and performance reviews for the department. Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. Manage finances including budget and inventory controls, analyze data and compile reports on expenditures, wages, labor, supplies, forecasts and budget, etc. Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation of department. Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction with minimum outlay of expenses in terms of labor and materials.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience as an Executive Housekeeper in the hospitality or other commercial environment required. Proven record of exceptionally high organizational skills/ ethical behavior, ability to adapt to a flexible and fast-paced work schedule and ability to multitask.
Night Auditor -Responsible for the overnight operations of the hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services.
Maintenance – Provide world class service to our guests by maintaining the hotel, restaurant, and grounds of the property, and providing guests that have maintenance related issues with a friendly, positive and professional manner.
Guest Service Agent – Responsible for providing quality guest service as it pertains to checking in/out of hotel guests; taking hotel reservations; and concierge services in a gracious and professional manner.
Jack’s Waterfront Restaurant
Host/Hostess –CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17 Expected to provide world-class service to our guests by being friendly, positive and professional while finding guest’s appropriate seats in the restaurant or on the deck and reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Restaurant Servers – CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17- In search of team players that are used to a fast-paced environment and has great customer service skills. Servers are responsible for interacting with our guests to ensure they have a memorable experience when dining at Jack’s Waterfront Bistro. Should have the availability to work all shifts. Serving experience recommended but willing to train. Reports to Restaurant Manager and Supervisors.
Busser – CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17 –To provide world class service to our guests by being friendly, positive and professional clearing plates, food or drink off of the guests tables reports to Restaurant Manager.
Restaurant Expo – Oversees that the food from the kitchen is prepared to go out to guests and find the correct server and table. The expo is the only person that communicates between the server and the kitchen and reports to the Restaurant Managers and Chef.
Restaurant Food Runner – Solely responsible for delivering food to guests when servers are not available.
Cooks –CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17 To provide world class service to our guests by preparing quality food in a timely manner to guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner or banquet events.
Pantry – Under the direction of on duty chefs and the food and beverage department, the pantry worker is expected to perform assigned food preparation duties.
Dishwasher –CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17 Responsible for cleaning tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment, also responsible for keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized.

Housekeepers – CURRENTLY SEEKING 10.1.17 Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are cleaned to IHG standards and linens are restocked.
Marketing/Design Intern – The intern will gain experience marketing using a large range of online tools across multiple channels – including print, email, web and social media. The intern will have the opportunity to work on integrated campaigns, drive online sales and actions, track and report on these projects, and learn how to adapt and improve marketing efforts. The intern will participate in design and development, making familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications essential, but just as important is the capability to design and market for a wide range of purposes.
