Q. Is the property within walking distance of Downtown Grand Haven and the beach? |
|
We do not recommend walking from the property to downtown and the beach unless you really like walking. Due to the river and US-31, the bike and walking paths will give an alternate way to downtown and the beach than if you were to drive. The approximate time it takes to bike from the hotel to downtown is about 10 – 15 minutes and walking takes about 30 minutes. The beach is located less than a mile away from downtown If you rather not drive we recommend the Harbor Trolley, Rosebud Taxi, or riding bikes. |

Q. How do I rent a boat slip at the marina? |

Q. Is swimming allowed off the marina docks? |
|
Swimming off the docks and in the river around the property and marina is prohibited.

Q. Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel? |
|
We do allow dogs to stay in designated pet friendly hotel rooms. The pet fee is $10 per dog per night. We allow up to two dogs to stay in each standard room. We have designated walking areas for dogs and also have complimentary treats available. Special needs dogs are exempt from the pet fee.

Q. Does the property or marina rent boats or jet skis? |
Unfortunately the hotel and the marina do not rent watercrafts of any kind. However, there are places near the area that do rent watercrafts hourly, daily, and weekly.

Q. Does the hotel have a shuttle? |
|
Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle. Rosebud Taxi is the local taxi service in the area. They run 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. (616) 935-1291 |

Q. What is the hotel’s cancellation policy? |
The week after Labor Day until April 30th there is a 6PM night of arrival cancellation policy.
May 1st-June 30th the cancellation policy is 6PM the day before arrival.
July 1st-Labor Day weekend the cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival by 6PM. Also during this time there is a $75 early departure fee.
If any reservation is changed or cancelled after the stated cancellation period, the reservation will be charged for a full room night plus tax.
