It’s no secret that Michigan tourism is getting major publicly with a spike in numbers compared to previous years. The Grand Haven Spring Lake Holiday Inn is no stranger to the increase as this summer season has established record numbers since the property was built in 1968.

Just recently CNN named Lake Michigan as being the best for beaches among 10 of the best lake vacations! With West Michigan’s sandy shores stretching more than 1,600 miles we have some of the best festivals and water sport activities. If you’re lucky enough to spend the day soaking up sun rays, the evening is host to a far greater show of magnificent hues as the sunset side of the state. CNN Article
If nothing else the Pure Michigan campaign has strengthened the Michigander pride, uniting communities to embrace what they thrive in and to invite others to join in on the fun. To round out the Michigan pride, two men from the firm Status Creative, Jeff Barrett and Rob Bliss took on 50 cities in what’s claimed to be one of “the most ambitious Pure Michigan road trips ever” in an effort to create a digital video that highlights what the state has to offer. Grand Haven locals and tourists out enjoying our nationally famed beaches got to participate in the video, which will be launched right before the Detroit Lion’s game, this Sunday!
